Currently, the world is undergoing a wide transformation of all sectors, including healthcare.
What is a digital compulsory medical insurance policy
A digital CHI policy is a unique number in the form of a barcode that contains personal data about the insured person and is stored in the unified register of insured persons (ERZL).
Previously issued paper or plastic MHI policies of a single sample are unlimited and do not require replacement, but they will no longer be issued in this form.
For newborns, digital CHI policies are generated automatically based on a birth certificate. It also contains information about the legal representatives of the child, most often these are the parents. It is they who must choose the insurance medical organization for the child.
You can get a digital policy without leaving your home – on the Gosuslugi portal (6+) (if you have a verified account). If you do not use the “Gosuslugi” – contact the medical insurance organization or the MFC.
Advantages of the new form of compulsory medical insurance policy

The CHI digital policy is always available in your personal account on the portal, and it can also be saved to any electronic device or printed. Such a document cannot be lost, which means that medical care under compulsory medical insurance will be freely provided throughout the Russian Federation.
