PETERSBURG RECEIVED 824 UNITS OF NEW EQUIPMENT

As part of the program for modernizing primary healthcare, which is part of the national project “Healthcare”, 824 units of equipment have been delivered to the city’s clinics in St. Petersburg since the beginning of the year. A total of 852 units are planned to be introduced by the end of the year. Chairman of the Health Committee Dmitry Lisovets spoke about this.

The Nevsky (127 units introduced), Frunzensky (197 units introduced) and Vasileostrovsky districts (87) received the most new medical equipment this year.

Recently, new X-ray equipment was received at clinic No. 76 in the Kalininsky district. The device allows for a variety of x-ray examinations and has high resolution.

Since the beginning of the year, Polyclinic 23 of the Kirov District has acquired 18 types of modern medical equipment. These are x-ray diagnostic devices, a steam sterilizer, a Holter heart rate monitoring device, surgical operating tables and more.

Next year, the program for modernizing clinics will continue: district administrations have begun contracting for equipment and major repairs for the next 2024.
