Opening of a new database of medical journals RusMed

TsNMB Sechenov University opened access to a new database of medical journals RusMed. This is the Russian analogue of the American PMC base. By 2025, it is planned to load all Russian scientific journals on biomedicine into it. RusMed already contains over 4,000 issues of 122 journals and over 100,000 articles. 90% of the articles are available for free. RusMed takes into account the maximum amount of metadata and is suitable for conducting systematic analyzes or scientometric studies. Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan are also ready to place their scientific journals in the system.
